Killover is a row-based shmup where every run you make leaves a permanent trace on the battlefield. With each loop you complete, the next challenge comes with all your previous efforts — now as separate entities. These “ghosts” play back every move, bullet, and error you committed previously. Any interaction with your past self, be it physical or projectile, will kill you instantly.
In Killover game every new loop opens only after you've pushed through all previous loops. Initial levels seem tractable, and you even have time to learn your own patterns — patterns of enemies. But when loops stack up, the arena becomes controlled chaos. Dozens of past iterations of you run amok, inundating the screen with bullets and tight escape routes.
This is a mechanic that makes you think ahead. Every action you do now gets in your way down the line, making Killover an action shooter and a tactical brainteaser at the same time.
Killover online has tight responsive controls that work well for fast paced combat:
Enhanced mouse locking allows for better aiming in heated battle, giving players more control over the chaos.
